Car Free Day - Streets for People: Sun 20 September
On Sunday 20th September The Lanes, New Road, Jubilee Street and Jubilee Square was transformed into pedestrian friendly spaces with live music, performances and activities for everyone to enjoy. We created an 'enchanted forest' in the Lanes and encouraged people to walk, cycle and get the bus to our annual free event.

Community fund activities
Local groups are organising activities to celebrate Streets for People in their own areas. The ideas for activities include promotion of shop mobility schemes, street parties, bike maintenance workshops and promotion of a travel buddy scheme.
