Hundreds enjoy free bike breakfasts
Hundreds of cyclists in Brighton & Hove enjoyed a free breakfast during National Bike Week 2008. We teamed up with employers and local businesses to offer hungry office workers a free breakfast and musical entertainment if they travelled to work on two wheels.
Hundreds of cyclists flocked to the Meals on Two Wheels stands at Baobab Cafe near the Level, at council offices on Grand Avenue and at the Meeting Place Cafe on Hove seafront to pick up their free breakfast.
Banjo and ukelele player Jimmy McGee entertained cyclists bringing a little musical fun to each event. See some photos below.
