Travel Advisors 2010 

Personalised Travel Planning (PTP) in Brighton & Hove, a pioneering city-wide project now entering its fifth year, is engaging directly with thousands of residents over the summer.

Travel Advisors for the project will be contacting 20,000 households in Central Brighton & Hove.  The area this year includes parts of St Peter's & North Laine, Brunswick and Adelaide, Regency, Goldsmid, and Preston Park. The team of Travel Advisors, clearly identified by white polo shirts with the Brighton & Hove City Council logo and identification, hope to meet residents at their doorsteps and offer free information and advice regarding transport options within the city.

This year's group of residents - similar to the previous years - will be offered the service to encourage more diverse and sustainable modes of travel within the city.  Feedback from people who have taken part so far indicates a range of benefits - most frequently, they report having saved money and improved their health and fitness.
