This programme was started as a way to get people moving and have people start thinking about leading an active lifestyle. It's recommended that people get at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. Brisk walking (3-4 mph) 10,000 steps a day could easily meet the lifestyle goals of 30 minutes a day of moderately intense physical activity.Free pedometersWe've got one hundred pedometers and walking packs to give away to help you achieve your own 10,000 step challenge.
